GRC ceiling board is premium products, the best alternative to conventional wood, plasterboard or wood/cement products by providing a durable and lightweight solution with simple design, quick installation and long-lasting life.
Screw spacing:
GRC screws should be 12mm from the edge of the panel and 50mm from the corner of the panel. GRC screws should be screwed at a maximum distance of 300mm, positioned in the middle of the frame.
Joint treatment details:
Each panel joint can be treated with mesh tape and Flexible GRC joint treatment powder.
The joint is best treated when both panels have beveled edges.
Smooth the joint with 3 coats, the base coat, the first coat and the second coat should be wide enough to cover the joint, the widths are 200mm and 300mm respectively.
Lightly sand the joint after drying to have a smooth surface before painting
